(This event is live and uncut)
A live update in Nashville, TN with voiceover actor and co-host Carl Jones. BHM365 is reporting on the ribbon-cutting event of NMAAM in celebrating MLK, Jr. Day and ushering Black History Month.
NMAAM, also hosted a live Facebook event of the recording today at 12 noon. (https://www.facebook.com/theNMAAM)
We took the time to go and look at the museum downtown and talk about what is coming in the future. Carl will be hosting a tour on Jan. 30th when it will be open to the public for viewing.
The museum's operating hours during the initial limited-access period will be 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Once conditions improve and restrictions can be relaxed, patrons will be able to buy tickets for tour time slots starting at 30-minute intervals. Prices will run from $13.50 for kids ages 7-17 to regular adult general admission of $24.50; children under 6 will be admitted free. Visit the museum's website for more information on becoming a member, making a gift and purchasing tickets.
Make sure you purchase your tickets and support the history of African American Music.
