Celebrating Women's History Month

Valisa Thompson (Mother), Founder of Thompson Holding, Inc.
Morgan Thompson (Daughter), Owner of Creative Junkiez

Thompson Holdings, Inc.
Thompson Holdings (TH) was established in 2017 by Gregory and Valisa Thompson to support their adult children’s businesses. The vision for the business is to offer guidance and structure on specific goals, focus, accountability, and investment capital. The business model tracks the progress through monthly meetings.

Bryant, son of the couple, is a songwriter, musician, and singer. TH inspired him to create an entertainment company that aligned with his artistry. Bryant, whose stage name is, Bryant Taylorr, has evolved not only as an artist but a leader since the inception of TH. As an artist he has built a team he directs with strategies put in place each month. His original songs have been heard in local restaurants, clubs and featured in the Netflix movie, “Uncorked,” starring Niecy Nash and Courtney B. Vance. In 2019 he signed a publishing deal that opened the door for many opportunities including his songwriting featured on two Super Bowl commercials in 2021. Morgan, the Thompson’s daughter, created a clothing brand that has become profitable while working with TH. Her business, Creative Junkiez, has developed its nostalgic street wear brand through manufacturing, a creative team and a solid strategic plan. Morgan has pitched to the national department store Macy’s, had several pop-ups with partnering stores and been approached to carry her designs in stores from Atlanta to D.C.  The Thompson’s, who have decades of entrepreneur and leadership experiences, recognized the need for other young adults who desired to start or grow their businesses. They expanded the model to include annual workshops and invited any interested young entrepreneur. The workshops have included local business leaders, attorneys, CPAs, with insights on how to finance, protect and legally run a business.

The Thompsons understand the importance of legal and strategic guidance. Gregory is the creator of an estate planning website that caters to any and every one that wants to leave a legacy for their families. He has worked with legal counsel to protect him from liabilities with customers and investors on financing the project. Valisa holds an Education Doctorate in Leadership and has worked as an executive over a decade.  Their education and skills have helped the business owners to think more critically, grow financially, and develop a great plan.
