BHM365 Special Interview: Chris Sanders, Former NFL Player for Titans
Our Guest Speaker:
Chris graduated from The Ohio State University in 1995 where he participated in both track and football. He was an 11 time All American in track and field. One of his most memorable accomplishments was breaking the legendary Jesse Owens indoor long jump record with a jump of 26ft. 9 ½ in. He was also a member of the football team from 1990-1995. In 1995 Chris was chosen as a 3rd round draft pick by the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans. That same year he made the All Rookie Team by averaging 23.5 yards per catch. He was also a member of the Super Bowl XXXIV team in 2000. Chris played with the Tennessee Titans from 1995 until his retirement in 2002. He coached at Christ Presbyterian Academy (CPA) for two years as a receivers coach and is currently working in the counseling department at Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, TN. His goal is to work for the NFL doing player development, helping players and their families win on and off the field.
